North End Missions Impact Report - June

North End Rocks! exists to help people in the North End to Know God, Live Free, and Find Purpose.
We accomplish that by connecting our neighbours to Christ though the North End Campus.
By The Numbers:
280 - People engaged with at SideROCK Cafe
95 - People served at our Community BBQ
215 - Doors knocked on by our Mission Team
41  - People the team prayed with directly
- First Time Guests at Sunday Services
This month at North End Campus, we continued to see fruits of last month's outreach events and an increase of meaningful interactions - which is a hard thing to measure!

Our community BBQ had significantly fewer attendees, but that offered our team the opportunity to engage with our guests more effectively. This was the Lord's way of reminding us that he isn't after statistics or a certain number, but rather he is chasing after hearts, minds, and souls.

Read the stories below!
"A young lady named Andrea attended church for the first time!  Chinwe (one of the team members) first prayed with her last month. Then, they reconnected at North End Campus at the Community BBQ and again on Sunday. Both times Andrea came into the church, she was overwhelmed by the presence of the Lord and experienced a peace like she never had before - which brought her to tears. She is so spiritually hungry and open to God's Word! We are excited to continue following up with her."
"When we knocked, a mother answered her door with two little kids behind her. She told us that she had been rude to our team in the past, but I guess the Lord softened her heart that day. We invited her to the BBQ, but she was unsure if she could make it because she is anxious in crowds and her kids are very active. We prayed for God to grant her peace and calmness for the kids. She did come to the BBQ with her kids! And, not only that, she came back on Sunday to the church service!"
"It was difficult to see people stuck in harmful ways of life like alcohol, drugs, and isolation - a place I have been in my past. But, in speaking about who God is to me and how He led me out of that way of life, a seed of hope was planted in their hearts. May God germinate those seeds and produce fruit in their lives!"
