Church Camp

Wednesday to Saturday, August 6-9, 2025

Each day at camp has lots of free time and outdoor/indoor recreation options for all ages, plus a service with worship, ministry time and preaching from our guest speaker. We expect to be both refreshed and challenged as we respond to what God is doing in our hearts. Come ready to meet new people and reconnect with old friends!

About Pastor Jedidiah
Pastor Jedidiah loves to see people engage in what God has for them! He is passionate about guiding individuals in experiencing the Holy Spirit as well as equipping them in discovering the gifts of the Spirit.

Originally from California and a Pentecostal background, he is currently the lead pastor at Portage Avenue Church in Winnipeg.

Activities at Camp for All Ages (registration required)

When you arrive at camp you will receive a schedule of group activities, including:
  • Swimming Pool
  • Volleyball & Family Soccer
  • Tournaments
  • Lawn Games
  • Board Games, Scrabble Tournament
  • Mini-Golf Tournament
  • Morning Adult Coffee Time
  • Bonfire, Late Night Swims & more!
For children ages 3 through those who have completed 4th grade.
Age-appropriate programs are offered for children in the morning and during the message portion of the evening services. Children will have exciting times discovering God’s Word in fun and relevant ways! Get ready for a great adventure! You must register for Church Camp to join in Kidz Rock
For youth who have completed 5th-12th grade.
Each year youth come out to camp and have a great time growing closer to God and participating in some crazy events! There is usually something happening for teens morning, noon and night, so make sure you grab the Threshold camp schedule.

Location

Manhattan Beach Retreat Centre (MBRC) is located on Pelican Lake in southwestern Manitoba, approximately two hours from Winnipeg.

Amenities include:
  • Cabins, motels, tent & trailer sites
  • Dining Hall (see prices below)
  • Swimming pool
  • Snack Shop
  • Mini-golf, volleyball, basketball
  • Lakefront & beach
  • Dock & boat launch

Accommodations

  • Motel Room - $100–$105 per night
  • Cabins - $45–$140 per night
  • Trailer sites - $40–$50 per night
  • Tent Area (per tent) - $30 per night

Everyone staying overnight on the camp grounds must register. Some motels and cabins allow for your own meal preparation and most have private or shared bathrooms.

Day pass $10/day per family for guests attending for the day or staying in their own accommodations.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is due when booking, balance due by JULY 22.

Meals include beverages and dessert. Children ages 4–10 eat for half price.
