HOW TO JOIN
You are welcome to join our EAL classes throughout the year. The first time you come we will do registration and assessment so that the next time you come you will know which class to join.
- On your first visit, simply come to room A1 for registration & assessment to determine which level you will be in
- Then on your second visit you may join your class

Whether you are new to Canada or simply want to improve your English, EAL at Church of the Rock is a welcoming place to learn, grow, and build community.
Our classes are designed specifically for adult newcomers and combine practical English with meaningful conversations about everyday life, Canadian culture, and biblical values such as hope, kindness, courage, forgiveness, and love.
Each lesson develops listening, speaking, reading, and vocabulary through interactive activities, real-life situations, and supportive small-group discussions.
Everyone is welcome! No previous Bible knowledge is required. Our goal is to help you build confidence in English while making new friends and feeling connected in your new community.

This class is designed for learners who are just starting to learn English.

Level 2 - Building Confidence (CLB 3-4)
This class is designed for learners who already have basic English and want to become more confident communicating.
Students will learn to:

- introduce themselves
- communicate in everyday situations
- understand basic vocabulary
- ask and answer simple questions
- build confidence speaking English
- learn about life in Canada

Level 2 - Building Confidence (CLB 3-4)
This class is designed for learners who already have basic English and want to become more confident communicating.
Students will learn to:
- participate in longer conversations
- improve listening and speaking
- expand vocabulary
- develop reading and writing skills
- communicate more confidently at work and in the community
- continue exploring life, faith, and community through practical English

Living Stones Bible Fellowship
