Volunteer
There are a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer at Winnipeg South, ranging from one-time events to ongoing commitments, behind-the-scenes tasks to front-and-center positions, from working with preschoolers to working with senior adults! With this variety, you are sure to find an area that best fits your interests, gifts, and availability.
Before you Volunteer
One of the requirements to volunteer in many (but not all) areas is to take the Foundations course.
This 6 week class take you through our core values, vision and who we are. It is available in person, online and on demand. Once you have completed the course, the volunteer coordinator will be available to discuss next steps and serving opportunities.

Active Volunteer Opportunities
EAL
English as an Additional Language (EAL) Classes happen on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Thursday evenings, and we are looking for people to help facilitate both general English Conversation groups and English Bible Study groups.
CRAVE (Audio/visual/lighting)
At Church of the Rock, technology has become a big part of how we carry out our vision to impact our city, our country, and the nations. And because of this, we have CRAVE (Church of the Rock Audio Visual Electronic arts), which is a team of technical ministries that desire to work with excellence and are motivated to serve with a good attitude.
Bike Ministry
Join this exciting team of volunteers that meet every Wednesday night to work on fixing up and re-furbishing bikes. These pre-loved bikes are given away during various community events during the year. No sign-up or experience is required - they will train you. Just show up on any Wednesday night at 7:00 PM, using the east doors marked "Bike Drop Off."
Prayer Team
The “Pre-Service” prayer team is looking for individuals to join with them in praying for the needs of others. All you need is a heart for prayer, a willingness to be used by God as well as to be available at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings. They meet every week in the Chapel before the 9:25 AM service - just come on out, no sign up required!
To be involved in the “After-Service” prayer, please fill out the form below and we will contact you.
