Position: Facilities Team Member (Custodial & Facility Support)

Schedule: Weekends
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Sundays: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
What We Offer
- $19 per hour

We’re looking for someone who is:
What You'll Do (examples include but are not limited to...)
- A team player with a heart for God and a passion for serving
- Able to speak, read, and write proficiently in English
- Over 18 years of age
- Comfortable opening and locking up the building
- A high school graduate (or equivalent)
- Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
- Detail-oriented and committed to excellence
- A strong communicator with solid problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently within established guidelines
- In good physical health and able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Experienced in using cleaning supplies and chemicals (preferred)
- Competent with basic computer and mobile apps (training provided)
- Knowledgeable in WHMIS safety practices (an asset; training available)
What You'll Do (examples include but are not limited to...)
- Serve as a helpful, professional presence for visitors using the facilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of all church facilities to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Set up and take down rooms for meetings, events, and services
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, washing floors, cleaning restrooms, emptying garbage, and collecting recycling
- Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 70 lbs
- Use sound judgment in managing time and supplies effectively
