Missions is a huge part of who we are at Church of the Rock. The Bible is clear that Christians have a responsibility to be outward focused, and we take this so seriously that we plan for approximately 1/3 of our annual budget to be given to missions projects both locally and worldwide. Through the lifetime of our church this has resulted in over $24 million going to missions and we are passionate about continuing this mandate.

At Church of the Rock, missions is not just about sending support, it is also about going!  Every year we take a team from our church to the country of Uganda to serve in medical missions.

Partnering with Missions Organizations
Because the mission field is great, we often partner with other organizations who already have a proven effective ministry in touching the lives of others by providing resources, people and finances.

Missions General donations and Tithes are used to support these ministries. If you would like to send additional support, we encourage you to give directly to the ministry. This puts your financial gift in their hands right away and allows them to connect with you directly, both for financial support and to get involved as volunteers.

We have provided links to the ministry or Canadian charity partner where possible.

PLEASE NOTE
While we send regular support as a church to these ministries from our Missions budget, they are not approved projects for Church of the Rock to receive incoming donations from individuals. If you personally wish to provide additional support to any of the above, please contact them directly in order to give directly to their organization.

The 10/40 Window and Beyond is the focus of the majority of our missions budget in the year.  This is the area of the world that has the least reached people groups for the gospel.  We literally support dozens of projects in these areas.  Our pie auction is the biggest contributor to those fundraising efforts.

There are no words to accurately describe our annual pie auction other than to say it is something that needs to be experienced! Our church family believes in missions so much that they are willing to both make and buy amazing desert creations. We have a live auctioneer come in and help us sell these deserts and sometimes they sell for thousands of dollars ….. each!
