Sharing Moments of Connection and Community

On this page you'll find info on past events that we hope helped to engage you and your family in growing closer with God and with each other! We look forward to sharing moments of connection and community with you!
The Together For Good marriage conference was a chance to reconnect, improve communication, and discover more joy for the lifetime couples share! Each session helped couples move past differences and drift to a place of greater closeness and trust. Couples gained new tools to strengthen the foundation of their relationship in the important areas of communication, conflict, sex, and spirituality.
We had a terrific Protecting Kidz Online workshop! Parents were encouraged to reflect on their family’s screen time habits, set age-appropriate boundaries, and create a practical game plan for device use, online safety, and video games. Everyone left with an easy-to-implement strategy tailored to their household’s needs. You can view the videos via the resource page link.
Thank you to all the youth who brought their siblings to Threshold and HSM for Family Month this year! It was a fun night filled with lots of games, prizes, and great memories together. We loved seeing so many new faces and are so grateful to everyone who made it special. We hope to see those siblings back again in the weeks to come!
Thank you to all the families who joined us for the Christian Education Fair this year. We were grateful for the strong turnout and for the opportunity to connect parents and students with several local Christian schools. It was a joy to see such meaningful conversations taking place. We look forward to hosting this event again next year!
Ask the Adults - Thank you to everyone who joined us for dinner and stayed for our panel discussion. We enjoyed chatting about all things young adulthood — from careers and friendships to making the most of our late teens and 20s in our walk of faith. We’re so grateful for the meaningful conversations and community we were able to share.
Raising Resilient Kids was a faith-based parenting workshop inspired by The Whole-Brain Child. Participants explored how a child’s brain is wired, why connection matters before correction, and practical tools to help children navigate big emotions and develop lasting resilience.
Designed for parents and caregivers of children of all ages, the workshop focused on building strong relationships and equipping families with strategies to help their kids flourish. Thank you to all who joined us! We look forward to next years family month activities!
Thank you to everyone who joined for two meaningful evenings as we discussed Bridging Broken Bonds. Together, we learned from the teaching of Dr. Jim Burns (author of Doing Life With Your Adult Children) and Rick Warren of Saddleback Church, exploring practical, hope-filled strategies for avoiding estrangement with adult children and healing damaged family relationships. It was a powerful time of reflection, encouragement, and learning how to build stronger, more connected families.
